Past Tense

PAST TENSE

There are many ways of speaking about the past in English, but the simple past is the most common form. The simple past in English is equivalent to the past imperfect and past indefinitely of the Spanish. We use the simple past for complete actions in the past. The period of time of these actions is not important as in the Spanish. In the simple past there are regular verbs and irregular verbs.



REGULAR VERBS:The majority of the verbs in English is regular, that are still a typical boss of conjugation. To form the simple past and participle spent from the regular verbs, simply we add "-ed" at the end of the verb.
