To Be in Past

When we speak of the simple past, it is used to describe an action, event or condition that occurs in the past before the time of speaking or writing.



Look at the following example:

The Verb To Be varies according to the verb tense in which you want to use it.

IsWas/were
Observe the following table to identify its forms of use in the past simple time. We combine it with the Personal Pronouns to achieve a better understanding. Note how it changes according to the person.
