This part is important - I'll show you how to use the simple present in English, and for what purpose.
It turns out that the simple present speaks of two things:
1) Habits.
2) Things that are true in time or that we see as permanent.
Notice that the present simple is not used to talk about what is happening now. For that we have the present continuous.

How to form verbs in simple present
The verbal forms are very simple. Otherwise, the conjugation is the same as the infinitive:
Work.
You work.
He works.
She works.
Works.
We work.
They work.

It only changes the form of the verb in the third person, put one-at the end. Spanish has many more forms for verbs, but English is easy.
A couple of other things to keep in mind
If I say "It works", it works not to work, but to function. "It" is used to talk about objects, but objects do not usually work much.
And remember that we are talking about a habit: the translation would be "I work" and not "I am working".

There are some verbs that take one - it's in the third person singular as well. Typically, they are verbs that in infinitive end with o, ch, sh, ss, x or z.

Infinitive - 3rd person sings
do
Let's go
watch watches
wash - wash
fix - fix
happen
buzzing - buzzing
Verbs ending with -y
There is also an irregularity with certain verbs that end with -y.
Concretely, with a consonant + y, it is changed and then the -is is put.
study studies
try - try
the fly flies
cry Cry
If the verb ends with more vowel and yes, the -s and nothing else is put.
pay - pay
play games
say - says
buy - buy
Another irregularity that should have is, that in third person singular becomes.
I have a bike. She has a bicycle
